An interesting game took place in Seoul where higher rankedSakers (15-13) were upset on the court of ninth ranked Samsung Thunders (9-17) 92-88 . Seoul Thunders made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) nailed 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and naturalized American guard Justin Gutang (191-1997, college: Skyline JC) accounted for 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Samsung Thunders players scored in double figures. Filipino forward Carl Tamayo (200-2001) came up with 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (on 17-of-19 shooting from the field) and American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-1986, college: GMU) added 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for LG Sakers in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Seoul Thunders moved-up to eighth place. LG Sakers at the other side keep the fifth position with 13 games lost.
